QF was established in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Father Amir, and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. They shared their inspirational vision that the future of Qatar lies in unlocking the most precious resource of all human potential.

Qatar Foundation has been investing heavily in education, innovation, community developments, a network of almost 50 entities working for education, research, and community development that has 2300 research projects funded worth $1.4 billion, 330 innovations, 4000 plus employees, 11 schools, 9 Universities 4000 alumni 60 degrees 20 startups.
