ISLAMABAD: Hundreds of journalists protested here Monday in front of the Parliament House the competition of the blasphemous caricatures organized by a website facebook and demanded of the government to raise this issue at international platform and ban this website that is hurting sentiments of the Muslims.

They were carrying placards and banners against the anti-Islam elements and raised slogans against those lobbies that were making such kind of policies against Islam and creating gap between Islam and the West.

The journalists’ community also observed a sit-in in front of the Parliament House for several hours and many parliamentarians visited their camp and ensured them that they will raise this issue on the Assembly floor.

The journalists demanded that the website www.facebook. com should be immediately banned in Pakistan as according to them it is being operated and monitored by the Jewish lobbies. Some ministers also visited the demonstration camp.
